4th of July T-Shirt Design Contest for 2016 Hercules Dynamite 5k Run

Introduction:
The Rotary Club of Hercules is hosting a T-Shirt design contest for the July 4, 2016 Dynamite 5k run. The winner will be announced at the Rotary Pasta Feed, on Monday May 2, 2016. By participating in the contest, the artist accepts and agrees to comply with the Official Rules. Eligibility: The contest is open to legal residents of the United States who are between the ages of 13 through 21 at the time of entry. If you are between 13-17, your parent or guardian must sign the consent block on the Official Entry Form, to ensure that you have your parent or legal guardian’s permission. Entry: To enter the Contest, eligible participants must: 1) Download and complete the Official Entry Form. The form is available for download at www.hercules4thofjuly.com 2) Choose a theme and create a logo. The theme should reflect a combination of the 4th of July celebration and the name of the run: The Hercules Dynamite 5k Run. 3) Convert the design into a usable web version and a scalable vector, and print quality version of the logo. The logo must adapt well to electronic and print media, to reproduction on small and large surfaces, and to use in color or in gray scale. 4) Email your completed Official Entry Form and your design to herculesrotary@gmail.com. Deadline for Entries: You must submit your design and completed entry by Monday May 2, 2016. Look and Feel: Your design should be dynamic, unique, and creative, and it must incorporate the 4th of July celebration, the race name, race theme (Dynamite Run) and City of Hercules. Formatting: For purpose of submission, please submit the design in .jpg and as a .pdf file. If the logo incorporates non-standards fonts, you must be able to provide us with the font if your logo is selected. Prizes: One winner will be selected and will receive: Two T-Shirts with your winning logo: One $200 Visa Gift Card; Artistic credit for your winning design on the www.hercules4thofjuly.com website, in print and other media and featured in the 2016 parade. The winning design will be used as the official logo for the 2016 Celebrate Hercules Selection of Winner All entry designs will be screened to ensure that they comply with the Official Contest rules and that they have met the guidelines and specifications, as seen on our website. All entries will be judged by the Rotary Club of Hercules. In the event that no entry is selected, the Rotary Club of Hercules reserves the right to declare no winner and run the contest again at a later date. The Rotary Club of Hercules will have all rights to the winning design. By submitting your entry, you agree that if your design wins, it will be used by the Rotary Club of Hercules and the Hercules 4th of July committee as both groups deem necessary. |
